Wow, It’s only been a few days since I unleashed my flower garland on the world of Etsy, and already it’s been featured in englishpreserve’s fantastic UK sellers treasury!

Then, to add to my excitment, the lovely Karly Hand of Design Crisis placed me in her garland feature! I feel like i’ve died and gone to heaven just looking at some of those examples of a fine garland!

I’m glad that I was drawn to this blog. It brings me back to my first love, interior design. Anyone who knows me will tell you how long i’d spend painting my room in the new trendy (not so much now) colour schemes. I’d never be satisfied with the look for too long and i’d want to do something else. At twelve i’d use poster paint to stencil flowers around the room and on the windowsill. That turned out pretty well, but a routine polish soon ruined that. What once looked pretty nifty turned into a smeared mass. I guess I had a pretty understanding mother.
